The Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) recognises certain Voluntary Associations (VAs) of which membership can be obtained by professionals. A requirement from ECSA is that the associations are encouraged to present CPD activities, as well as assist their members in identifying CPD activities initiated by private providers.
The registered VAs are used as vehicles by ECSA to validate and monitor courses, seminars and conferences offered for CPD credits by private providers to ensure that the activities are of adequate standard.
The Energy Training Foundation (EnTF) is proud to announce that the South African Institute of Electrical Engineers (SAIEE), has recognised VAs of ECSA, and has accredited EnTF training courses for between 2-5 credits per course.
The value of the EnTF training not only meets the educational and skills development needs within the energy industry, but successful completion of the examination can lead to international Certification by the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) and provides recognition as part of over 16,000 distinguished global achievers in their field recognized in 89 countries, by demonstrating high levels of experience, competence and specialised knowledge.
